It’s been a long time coming but I thought it was time to update you all on what the team and I have been up to over the last twelve months.

Firstly, as some of you are aware, we have established our own Philippines office in a city called Angeles just outside of Manila. We tried using third party providers in the past and found that it wasn’t a great fit for us, so we built our own team.

Our growing team of eight is moving to our new office next month. We will have space for our clients/associates who need to supplement their Australian teams, with space available to directly hire contractors and house them in our office. The benefit of this – our team manager can assist with day-to-day management and oversight. These team members should be viewed as an extension of your current Australian team. They’re just based in a different location.

The key to the Angeles office’s success is our Philippines team manager, Riza Canda (rcanda@reesgroup.com.au). She oversees recruiting, screening, initial interviewing and documentation of contracts once we’ve found the right candidates. Riza reports to us on a weekly basis to ensure that each team member is performing at the anticipated level, while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
